Just read a totally biased bench marking posting comparing Windows 7 to Ubuntu, what was really interesting is that clearly this was a very biased article with the author saying “but it’s not too pleasing to see Windows pip Linux to the post in nearly all results.”. What was also interesting to read was that some of the tests for performance were the number of clicks to install the OS and the amount of disk space used in the OS foot print. What the!
But what this does show is that Windows 7 is doing very well in the performance stakes in the Beta stage so i would expect to see some more improvements at the RC and RTM stages…. Can wait to see the results then..
