How to configure Windows 7 as a Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter

Due to the massive explosion of netbook computers its interesting the different uses that they can be used. Well now I have setup my Dell Mini 9 with Windows 7 to be used as a wireless adapter for the Xbox 360 instead of the retail about $150. So below are the instructions for setting it up

Step 1. Configure Windows 7 to connect to your wireless network

Step 2. Connect the Netbook to the Xbox 360 via an ethernet cable. (If your Ethernet adapter does not support automatic cross-over mode then use a cross-over cable.)

Step 3. Open Network and Sharing Center then open Change adapter settings

Step 4. Select the Wireless Network Connection and the Local Area Connection then right click and select Bridget Connections

Step 5. Wait for Windows to bridge the connections

Step 6. Once the bridge has been created then reboot the Xbox 360

Step 7. Once you have rebooted your Xbox you should be able to connect to Xbox live.
