Microsoft’s Official DVD to USB tool to upgrade NetBook Computers to Windows 7

win7usb Microsoft has now released a tool on their newly branded “Microsoft Store” that allows people who own Netbooks to install Windows 7 without the need of a USB DVD ROM. The tool does not create a bootable USB stick like the instructions on Jeff Alexander’s Blog but you will be able to plug the USB drive into any system running Windows and run setup.exe. One of the really interesting FAQ’s is that they even say you can do this from an iPod if you are willing to format the device.
